Acropolis Museum
Private Tour
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your private tour starts from the ground floor of the museum where make your way through the historic artefacts found on the Acropolis site.
โ
As you make your way through the museum you see the change in artwork and sculptures until you reach the top floor, where you see the original friezes of the Acropolis.

Makrigianni
Beneath the museum lies an archaeological site offering visitors a rare glimpse into ancient urban life just south of the Acropolis.
This area comprises a complex network of streets, dwellings, public and private baths, workshops, and burial sites, collectively known as the “Makrigianni site”.
โ
Its layers reveal a rich tapestry of human activity dating back to the 4th millennium BC. Most of the visible remnants today stem from the Early Byzantine era, showcasing the ruins of an urban mansion featuring intricate mosaic floors and a personal bath complex.

The Erechtheion
The Erechtheion is renowned for its unique architectural design, including the famous Porch of the Caryatids, featuring six draped female figures as supporting columns.
โ
The Erechtheion is an ancient Greek temple located on the north side of the Acropolis in Athens. It was built between 421 and 406 BC, during the reign of Pericles, to replace an earlier temple destroyed by the Persians.
โ
The temple was dedicated to both Athena Polias and Poseidon-Erechtheus, two important deities in Athenian mythology.
