CIEL ATHENS

Located in the Historical centre of Athens, Ciel offers an all day eating and drinking rooftop experience.

The rooftop bar has stunning views of the Temple of Hephaestusthe, Acropolis and Lycabettus hill, and the best views over Athens.

Probably one of the best places for food, their menu consists of brunch, street food and Mediterranean mains, as well as signature & classic cocktails, a nice selection of wines, and of course coffee.

ELECTRA METROPOLIS

Located on the top floor of the Electra Metropolis Hotel is M bar - the rooftop bar and restaurant of the hotel. Located just off Ermou Street in the centre, it has one of the best view of any Athens rooftop bars.

The food and drinks are great and the staff are very helpful. The rooftop also has a small rooftop pool, which can be used by any Electra Hotel guest in Athens.

It has become a popular spot to watch the sunset over the Acropolis view, so make sure to get your seat early!

ERMOU 18

Situated on the main shopping street of Athens, Ermou 18 sits atop of one of the many marble buildings located on the street. The bar sits 7 stories high and has a excellent view of the Acropolis.

The bar offers some great cocktails and food to match. It is best to try and book a table, especially during the summer months as it can be hard to get a table at this popular venue.

CITY ZEN

City Zen is the old faithful of downtown Athens rooftop bars. Great drinks and food, staff are welcoming and its very rare not to find a seat at the rooftop bar.

Not to say its not busy, it just seems every time you visit, you are able to find some sort of seat to enjoy a cocktail and the view of the Acropolis.

Located in central Athens.

COULEUR LOCALE

Another rooftop bar that is a staple of the rooftop scene. Located in the rooftops of Monasteraki, this rooftop bar serves some nice cocktails with a nice view of the Acropolis.

Its very popular so getting a table could be a bit hard, so its best to book. It gets very busy during summer.

ANGLAIS ATHENS

Located not too far from City Zen and sitting behind 360 Cocktail Bar, Anglais Athens is a rooftop garden more than a bar. Their dinners are great and their cocktail and service are both spot on. With the an unobstructed view of the Acropolis, this popular rooftop is well worth the visit.

Its a hot spot for locals and even if the bar looks full, the staff will always try to accommodate you.

The bar is also great to grab a coffee and have breakfast or brunch with a view to kill.

MANOUKA

On one side you have the beautiful view of the Acropolis, on the other side you have the perfect view of Lycabettus hill. The bar serves great fresh cocktails along with the old faithfuls.

Manouka also serves a great breakfast making it the perfect spot for brunch!

The bar has a fantastic view of the Acropolis, the staff are great, along with their food. Even though its the first rooftop bar, A for Athens is still the go to rooftop bar.
